Congratulation's to Norton and Powell Valley for a game that was all it was hyped up to be.

With that said congratualtions to J.I. Burton fans for making a ass of themselves after the game and running their slack jaw as only trash can. If you went on the field and congratulated both teams well this should not offend you. If you did like most and run your mouth at the players from the stands and also to other fans going to the parking lot. Well this is to you, it has been said before and i guess it still stands " You can take a person from trash... but you can't take the trash out of the person."

Jimbo Adams would have won this game with either team. No doubt in my mind. He is the best coach I have seen in this area in quite a while. Congrats to Burton.

Very good game IMO....Glad I went to the park instead of Lebanon....heard a lot of stupid comments from the Norton fans and from the PV fans...and i'm curious as to how many "late hit" penalties PV had....but great game played tonight at the park, I thought PV had it, but they just broke down in the 3rd....and picked it back up in the 4th, but it wasn't enough....

I believe Pv had 7 and no less then 6 personal fouls called against them. This including the "15yrd face mask" at the end of the fourth and also the personal foul on coach robbins afterward that sealed it for burton.

Speaking of bad fans...here's what I heard on my way to the car (and I had my 9 year old son w/ me who heard all of this too). "I hope you wreck going back up the mountain"; "Jimbo, did you s#&k all their c*$&ks to give them motivation at half time"; "They won because they screwed us before the game ever started" etc... It happens on both sides of the field. Don't down a few people when you have a few yourself doing the same thing.

One thing i didnt like was i set on norton's side and sit around a lot of nice people,but Cedric Mitchell had been classy all night helping players up,Tapping them on the Helmet if he saw a Burton Player down he went and Checked on them,Was a classy kid all night but when there was like 25.0 Seconds on the clock and he was playing D,Grown Men from Norton was Screaming at him telling him he sucked,He lost the game for them,he was worthless,Just giving the "Kid" down the road i really felt bad for him.We gotta remeber there all the games and everything that we are watching kids.

Sign may have been uncalled for... But one must keep in mind this was made my High School Kids.... Not "adults" or their lack there of mouthing off from the bleachers at the players, parents and fans. Not to mention the few "fans" running on the field shoving a t-shirt in the players and coaches faces which engaged a confortation that called for the police to be called to the field... Come to think of it didn't this very thing happen last year when norton "got cheated" out of the state title. Didn't some of those "classy" fans have to be removed from the stadium after some charged the field after the "bad call" from the offical? Say what you may but your teams fans reputation precedes it's self.
